Globus, a leading operator has launched a new off-season tour of Wales meeting a key objective for Visit Wales to attract more visitors across all seasons. This all new Welsh Escape tour will begin in London travelling through the English countryside visiting Stonehenge and Bath - en route to Wales.

This seven day itinerary will include some of the well-known heritage sites in Wales including Cardiff Castle and the beautiful landscapes of the National Parks of Wales - Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and Eryri (Snowdonia), as well as Builth Wells, Llangollen and Caernarfon before heading back into England with stops in Chester and Manchester.

As part of this newfound interest in Great Britain, and thanks to the FX series ‘Welcome to Wrexham,’ Wales has enjoyed a moment in the spotlight, catapulting it to the top of travelers’ must-see lists. As travellers stay in Llangollen, - a picture-perfect town home to the annual Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod contest for poets and musicians, they will have the option to spend an evening in the North Wales city of Wrexham - the town and football community made famous by the popular documentary series 'Welcome To Wrexham'. Here they will have the option of visiting the places featured in the series documenting the rise of the third oldest football club in the world - now owned by two Hollywood actors. 

Escapes by Globus offer off-season travel deals which caters for the solo traveller. This seven day tour will be available from October 2023 through to March 2024.
