Day one
Take a walk along Offa’s Dyke Path. It is a 177 mile (285 km) long distance footpath and follows the 8th century dyke constructed by King Offa between what is now England and Wales. The path links Prestatyn in North Wales and Chepstow in the south. Although the whole walk is stunning, today, we suggest a section along the Clwydian Mountains - a National Landscape (formerly AONB), and in particular Moel Famau.
Continue to Llyn Brenig for adventure on the water or on land. They offer a wide range of activities, including boating, walking and cycling. There are also kayaking and SUP activities during the summer.

Day two
Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is home to Velocity 2 which has given new life to the former slate quarry. It is the fastest zip line in the world and the longest in Europe often reaching speeds over 100mph (161 kph). Visitors can take in the stunning views towards Anglesey and even the Isle of Man on a clear day! The zip wire experience takes around 2hrs. There are four other adventures to choose from at the attraction including Quarry Karts and the Penrhyn Quarry Tour. Blondin Restaurant is also on site.
Day three
RibRide offers an exhilarating fast boat ride from St George’s Pier, Menai Bridge. Various rides are available including a journey under the historic Menai and Britannia Bridges, Caernarfon, Beaumaris & Puffin Island and further afield to Llanddwyn Island. Boat trips last between one hour to one day and each boat takes up to eight people.
The rocky coastline of Anglesey is the perfect place to try coasteering, the sport invented in Wales with Anglesey Adventures. After being kitted up in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet, the important safety briefing, adventurers will scramble and climb along the rugged coastline and finally jump into the sea – seals, porpoise and dolphins are often spotted! They even offer abseiling, canoeing, gorge scrambling, rock climbing, sea kayaking and other adventurous activities to try. Adventure days and breaks can be tailored for groups.
RSPB South Stack is dominated by the nearby lighthouse. Famed for it’s cliff-side nesting colonies, summer visitors include guillemots, razorbills and puffins all raising their young (binoculars and telescopes are provided). Rare choughs can also be seen on the reserve as well as porpoises and dolphins!
As an alternative suggestion, Seawake provides rib rides along the Menai Strait. Departing from Beaumaris pier, the adrenaline fuelled ride passes under both of the historic bridges, allowing clients to take in the scenery and natural habitat. Private charters can be arranged for up to 12 guests.
Extend the itinerary, stay an additional night or continue to homeward destination.
