Wales Outdoors offers a range of sightseeing tours, cultural experiences and guided walks designed to help visitors discover Wales' landscapes, heritage and attractions through expert local knowledge and interpretation.
Scheduled day and multi-day tours for 2027 depart from Cardiff and with pickups, depending on the tour, from Swansea, Newport, Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil. They also run a tour that departs from Llandudno Junction.
Operating year-round, Wales Outdoors specialise in small-group experiences with a maximum of seven guests per guide. The company uses a fleet of fully electric vehicles and is a PSV-licensed operator.
All scheduled tours are fully guided by Wales Official Tourist Guide Association (WOTGA) qualified professionals and include entry to attractions featured on the itinerary. The company also actively supports off-peak tourism, encouraging visitors to travel outside the busiest periods and helping to spread economic benefits across Wales throughout the year.
The company has recently strengthened its guiding enhancing its ability to deliver expert-led tours across Wales. Kate Lamb has recently qualified as a Green Badge Guide for South West Wales and is also a member of the Wales Official Tourist Guides Association (WOTGA). Her qualification complements the expertise already offered by Wales Outdoors and expands the company's capacity to provide professionally guided experiences throughout the country.
Kate will lead tours in South West Wales and Pembrokeshire, alongside Andrew Lamb, Green Badge Guide for South East Wales. Andrew also leads walking tours in North Wales and Eryri and has more than 30 years' experience as a Mountain Leader, delivering guided walking and hiking experiences across Wales.
Wales Outdoors caters for independent travellers, groups, educational visits, familiarisation trips and cruise visitors.
