Wales | Lonely Planet’s Ultimate UK Travelist

Lonely Planet is one of the most recognised travel media specialists and in its latest edition of the Ultimate United Kingdom Travelist, it features the very best of Britain’s unmissable destinations. Each entry gives a taste of what to expect, plus practical advice for planning your trip.

They have placed Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in the top 10 of their list and described it as “one of the very best experiences offering staggering beauty, adventure and a wonderful escape”.

The park covers 612 square kilometres where visitors can learn about the history of the castles, forts and churches, take in the breathtaking views along the Coastal Path or enjoy the many species of wildlife found in the park. Also judged by National Geographic as being the second best coastal destination in the World, there is certainly a lot of praise for the area in West Wales.
