Two Welsh properties have secured places in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.

Grove of Narberth in Pembrokeshire placed 19th in the UK hotel ranking. Located in the countryside near Narberth and within reach of the Pembrokeshire coast, the country house hotel is suitable for luxury breaks and touring programmes in South West Wales.

The property credited its employees for helping to deliver the experience recognised by readers, from its food offering and accommodation to the upkeep of its grounds. It also expressed its appreciation to the guests who supported it in the reader-voted awards.

Penmaenuchaf Hotel, near Dolgellau, debuted at 35th in the UK hotel list. Situated at the foot of Cadair Idris in Eryri National Park, the hotel offers a potential base for itineraries featuring north Wales landscapes, attractions and outdoor experiences.

Both hotels belong to the privately owned Seren Collection, a Welsh hospitality group with five venues. Although the properties occupy contrasting settings, each offer individual service and a strong sense of location at the centre of the guest experience.

The annual Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards are determined by ratings from the publication’s readers. The rankings provide a useful reference point for travel-trade professionals seeking independently recognised accommodation for clients.
