Since The British Bird of Prey Centre moved to Idole, its new site in October 2025, they have welcomed multiple coach parties including international visitors. The centre has continued to improve its facilities with the benefit of two coach park bays, a driveway, an undercover wet weather area, and a café.
It is the only place in the UK dedicated solely to British raptors. Open every day, your clients will enjoy three thrilling flying shows in the indoor and outdoor arenas and hands-on activities. The interactive zone includes identifying the bird call, experiencing the sight of an owl with night vision goggles, and designing a personal bird of prey.
The feathered stars live in large, natural aviaries and choose when to fly or relax – giving clients the chance to meet their quirky personalities while supporting vital conservation.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet owls and eagles up close, see soaring red kites and flying falcons, and capture that perfect photo. The centre’s flying experiences and monthly events make every visit unforgettable.
There are a range of flying experiences at the centre, including a half day experience, an opportunity to fly three of the largest birds of prey, and a group flying experience for up to 15 guests.
