Southern Wales Tourism has created a virtual familiarisation visit to help coach and tour operators plan tours to Southern Wales. It’s easily accessible from London, the Midlands and South West England. The virtual tour is guided by Steve Griffin from Griffin Guiding and he explores the coastline, Cardiff, castles, heritage railways and old coal mines. The tour includes:-

Big Pit National Coal Museum
Blaenavon’s Heritage Railway
Guardian – Six Bells Mining Memorial, Abertillery
Llancaiach Fawr Manor
Cyfarthfa Castle
Zip World Tower
Porthcawl
Forage Farm Shop, near Cowbridge
The Royal Mint Experience
Cardiff, including National Museum Cardiff, Cardiff Castle, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Bay
Newport Transporter Bridge
Caerleon, including the Roman Fortress and Baths, Amphitheatre and National Roman Legion Museum

It also includes examples of two hotels in the area, which are great bases for exploring the region – Parkway Hotel & Spa, Cwmbran and Best Western Heronston Hotel & Spa, Bridgend.
