Introducing the Football Museum of Wales and Wrexham Museum, an unmissable new visitor attraction at Wrexham’s landmark County Buildings on Regent Street. A brand new, immersive and vibrant venue, designed to draw visitors into compelling stories of community, football, diversity, innovation and local life.
The commonly named ‘Museum of Two Halves project’ has seen the development of the national Football Museum of Wales, celebrating Welsh football, past and present, in all its diversity, from grassroots clubs to the national and local teams; combined with a new, reimagined Wrexham Museum, which spotlights both Wrexham’s historic importance in Welsh Football, and the rich heritage of the County Borough. Wrexham Museum closed late 2023 for re-development and is set to open in summer 2026.
This flagship, Football Museum of Wales is the official home for the Welsh football collection, showcasing historic trophies, objects, football kit and memorabilia from clubs across Wales; as well as personal stories and unique objects donated by fans.

With 11 themed galleries to explore, a new café and shop, there really is something for everyone.
