About Pandy Farm Experience

At Pandy Farm Experience, we offer a unique and authentic glimpse into the daily life of a young hill farmer in North Wales. We can offer your clients both private group tours and VIP experiences.
The host, Erin McNaught, is a fourth-generation farmer, a well-respected female figure in the agricultural world and known for her appearances on national TV. Erin brings passion, expertise, and warm hospitality to every visit—making this a truly memorable experience for all ages.

Tour Overview
As your clients arrive, they will be warmly welcomed by Erin and her sheepdog Del. Erin’s passion for her family’s farm is infectious, and it shines through as she shares its rich history—she often jokes that sheepdog trialling runs deep—not just in her blood, but in the very soil beneath your feet with the first recorded sheepdog trial taking place in 1873.
Your clients will be treated to an unforgettable experience as Erin and her expertly trained sheepdogs deliver a thrilling demonstration. They'll be captivated by the dogs’ remarkable skill as they expertly herd sheep—and, for a fun surprise, some lively runner ducks!

Once the flock is safely penned, Erin will introduce them to the hardy Welsh Mountain sheep, a native breed uniquely “hefted” to the upland hills. She’ll share insights into the significance of different wool textures and explain how traditional grazing plays a vital role in maintaining the upland environment.
To round off the visit, guests will gather in the characterful old barn for a well-earned cup of tea and freshly baked Welsh cakes. They’ll also have the chance to browse the farm’s small gift shop, featuring hand-made gifts crafted right on site. Finally, they can sit down with Erin’s grandparents and other family members to hear stories, ask questions, and enjoy the warm atmosphere of this working Welsh hill farm.
