About Anglesey Bees

Our beekeeping experiences range from 90 minute 'meet the bees' or ' taste the honey', a half-day 'bee curious experience', to a full day 'beekeeper for a day' experience. They are aimed at individuals, families, friends and groups that would like a taste of beekeeping without committing. Numbers of attendees are restricted to no more than 4-6 individuals so that you get the most from your experience but are available for larger private groups by arrangement. Generally, experiences are available between the start of April and the end of August. However please enquire about doing a "Taste the Honey experience outside this time period. Experiences may include a guided honey tasting activity, wearing a bee suit and inspecting a beehive, learning about the life cycle of the bees, making a beeswax candle and discovering about the plants that our bees forage on.

We have a hard standing for about 10 cars and could accommodate a minibus. We can open a field for parking from June onwards. However, parking and approach to the property is unsuitable for coaches. They could park on the road in the village with guests walking half a mile on unsurfaced farm track. It takes less than 10 minutes.
