About Crai Valley Eco Lodges
“Crai Valley Eco Lodges” is a family run business of which we operate with the help of our three children Heidi-May, Naomi and Reuben.
Our aim as a family is to ensure you relax, enjoy and unwind and to assist you to explore the untapped beauty of the Geo Park situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons.
Our roots firmly belong to the soil of Crai Valley and Reuben will be the fourth generation who will actively care for the environment in farming our 330 acre Organic Beef and Sheep farm. All our lambs are marketed to the “Waitrose” Supermarket. The beef cows will all calve through the months of May and June.
This is an active working farm where you will be able to visualise the four seasons from lambing through to harvesting, where the Red Kites will give you a dramatic display when the crops are being harvested.
We have two lovely dogs – 'Sian' the laid-back Huntaway and 'Megan' the Bichon Frise who belongs to the children. Both dogs play an active role in the meeting and greeting of all guests and are a definite hit with the children.
There is a boot camp Gym on the Onnenfawr Complex. Oak Barn has a large Swimspa, and there is a hot tub for the two lodges Poplars and Beeches. Three of the larger properties have disabled facilities as in raise and recline beds, shower chair, bed blocks and rails, wider doors for wheelchair access and no steps out side. Brecon Golf Course and Cradoc Golf Course are approx. 10 miles away. There are 12 mountain bikes for hire. The local bus stop is 100 yards away in the village.
