BikePark Wales is the UK's largest and most diverse bike park. Set in the stunning landscape of Gethin Woodland near Merthyr Tydfil. The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. With over 50 all weather trails ranging from Green for the beginner rider to Pro lines for the seasoned professional! BikePark Wales has something for everyone.

Uplift service:
Uplift means no pedalling! Our fleet of mini buses with specially designed trailers will transport you to the top of the mountain. Don't worry if you haven't used this before, our staff are there to help you through it. With a short drive to the top, you'll spend most of your day doing the exciting stuff, descending the trails, perfect!
Beginner sessions:
Never ridden at a bike park before? Our Ticket To Ride Experience is perfect for you!
This is the best way for those that are new to mountain biking to experience the thrill of descending the longest beginner downhill trail in the UK. You will be looked after from start to finish by one of our experienced mountain hosts who will introduce you to the sport, give you some fundamental tips and advice, help you get kitted up and guide you through your ride on the mountain. You will enjoy our vehicle uplift to the top of the mountain and all equipment is included.
Coaching:
BikePark Wales is a perfect place for skills coaching. We have every kind of terrain, surface and obstacle you can think of and an efficient uplift service meaning you will spend maximum time working on your skills during each session delivered by our professional coaches.
Bike hire:
If you don't have the right kit, don't worry! At BikePark Wales you can hire a bike and all the safety equipment you need including a helmet, knee and elbow pads. All of our bikes are professionally maintained by our top mechanics to ensure they are in tip top condition for your enjoyment. We have full suspension enduro bikes, downhill bikes and e-bikes available to hire!
Refreshments:
Onsite we also have a café with delicious locally roasted barista coffee and an array of freshly prepared food including breakfast, lunch and oven baked pizza! Not only that, we also have our infamous Popty Ping lager on tap brewed by a local brewery just over the hill!
Bike Shop:
We also have a bike shop with all the latest kit and merch to take home after your visit! Our workshop is also there to keep your bike running if you have any issues on the day or if you're local, get in touch to book your bike in for a service or for some specific work done.
Groups:
We welcome all groups. Regardless of your group's experience level, whether seasoned riders or total beginners, we can create a bespoke package that fits your needs perfectly. Please note that our packages are available on weekdays only.
