Creating Exceptional Welsh Experiences

Wales offers an incredible range of experiences, from Cardiff and its world-class sporting and cultural attractions to spectacular mountains, coastlines, castles, heritage sites and adventure destinations.

Mainline is ideally positioned to help travel companies bring these experiences together into memorable group itineraries. Our local knowledge and extensive experience of operating throughout Wales means we can work with tour operators to develop practical and efficient transport solutions that complement their programmes.

We can also arrange tailor-made group travel packages, combining coach travel with hotels, ferry crossings, attractions and other elements of an itinerary.

A Family Business Built on Experience

Mainline Coaches was founded by Howard and Joan Mainwaring in the late 1960s. Starting with a single taxi, they developed the business through executive mini coaches and larger coaches to create the established coach operation it is today.

Howard and Joan continue to be involved in the business alongside their son Chris Mainwaring, Managing Director, maintaining the personal service and family values that have been at the heart of Mainline for more than five decades.

Today, Mainline combines family-business values with the fleet, experience and professional standards expected by leading travel companies and international tour operators.

We are proud to work with clients from across the UK and overseas and to play our part in showcasing Wales to visitors from around the world.

When your passengers are travelling in Wales, choose a transport partner who understands the destination, understands your itinerary and understands the importance of getting every journey right.
