The Royal Mint Experience, based in Llantrisant will play host to a new temporary exhibition in celebration of His Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation Day, which took place on Saturday 6th May 2023.
Clients will discover more about this turning point in the history of the United Kingdom.
They will have the opportunity to marvel at its Coronation-themed exhibition which features a range of unique objects from The Royal Mint Museum’s collection, hands-on interactives and a very special photo opportunity.

The Royal Mint Experience welcomes over 50,000 visitors each year. The unique tour takes visitors ‘behind the scenes’ of coin making, followed by an interactive exhibition exploring 1,100 years of The Royal Mint’s history. Visitors will also have the unique experience of seeing The Royal Mint’s workforce producing official UK coins as well as coins for other countries.
The Royal Mint Experience anticipates this year to be one of the busiest yet and advise to book early to avoid disappointment.
