Penderyn Distillery has opened their third distillery in Wales. Their unique distillery and bottling plant is part of a landmark £1 billion transformation program launched by the city council.
Penderyn Swansea Copperworks Distillery runs daily tours, and will hold masterclasses. There is a shop on-site which opens seven days a week. It has been given a Visitor Attractions Quality Standard (VAQAS) accreditation and Gold Award for excellence.
The programme, already well advanced, is due to include the transformation of up to seven different areas across the city and districts, from the Civic Centre to Sailbridge, Oystermouth Road to Oxford Street. The Hafod-Morfa Copperworks development involving Penderyn, is part of an ambitious upscaling of the wider Lower Swansea Valley area, which has experienced significant business growth over the past few decades. This project will help Swansea to further develop public attractions and points of interest - appealing to both local people and tourists. The project has also been supported by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, that recognises the importance of Welsh business and homegrown talent. As well as helping to establish Penderyn in the Swansea area, the works will also help to preserve important points of heritage close by.

Their home distillery is Penderyn Brecon Beacons Distillery, where Stephen Davies and his team continue to run operations as HQ. Penderyn Llandudno Lloyd Street Distillery is their second offering, which opened in a former boarding school in May 2021. The distilleries offer a visitor centre, shop, behind the scenes tours and masterclasses.
Penderyn continues to enjoy huge success. As well as the company’s expansion, Penderyn and its sister brand, Siddiqui Rums, have continued to gather international spirits awards ensuring that this successful Welsh company is making its marque on the global stage.
