Good Day Out has been offering small group immersive experiences for the last 12 years, specialising in innovative and engaging activities such as the Sheep Dog Herding experience, Piggy Walking and Mini Donkey Walks and Agility Games. Based in scenic, quiet, remote locations, these experiences have been a hit among animal lovers looking to de-stress from everyday life pressures. There has been an increasing demand over the last couple of years for private group sessions, couples, intergenerational family groups, and special days out with friends.
Recently, Good Day Out has expanded its offer to accommodate larger group sizes, including coach tours. They are proud to announce a new venue near Crickhowell that can host their popular Sheep Dog demonstrations, led by the knowledgeable sheepdog trainer, Ross Games, who competes regularly at Trials for Wales. Julia welcomes tour companies to add these unique experiences to their itineraries, noting the growing interest in traditional skills like herding sheep with working dogs.

For FITs, Good Day Out continues to offer small group join-in sessions for individuals and private small groups across all activities. Their 5-star rating on Tripadvisor speaks volumes about the care and participation taken with the animals.
A new 1hr experience, Walk a Goose is available from mid-May to September. Piggy Walking takes place from March to October and lasts for 2hrs, Sheepdog Experience from May to October for 90mins and Mini Donkey Walking, a 2hr experience is available all year round.
