We are delighted to announce that from 1 April to 30 September 2023, each day we’ll be offering five trips across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, making it a ‘must-do’ activity at this world-famous Welsh site, visited by tens of thousands of people each year.”

Carl continued to add "Anglo Welsh has been providing canal boat holiday hire at Trevor for over 55 years, and since then we’ve given thousands of people the chance to experience the thrill of travelling across the UNESCO World Heritage status Pontcysyllte Aqueduct by boat. So that even more people can enjoy this ‘bucket list’ experience, we started offering self-drive day boats for hire in the 1990s and in 2021 we launched our ‘Little Star’ skippered trip boat."

Refreshments are available to purchase on board, so visitors can relax with a hot or cold drink, or an ice-cream while enjoying stunning views from the World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, towering 126ft (38.4m) high across the Dee Valley. Booking is highly advised, see the Anglo Welsh website to purchase your tickets online.

Private charters are also available, perfect for coach tours, school trips, team days out and special occasions. To discuss bespoke prices please call +44 (0)117 304 1122.
