Penderyn Distillery's Visitor Centre sees over 43,000 visitors per annum, and is one of South Wales' premier tourist attractions. Most Trip Advisor reviews are 5-star. The distillery is situated on the southern foothills of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park - a National Landscape (formerly AONB) famed for its breath-taking scenery, open moorland, clear rivers and tumultuous waterfalls. We're about 40 minutes from Cardiff and half hour from Swansea. Tours are available 7 days a week, and at busy times run on the hour. The tour, which lasts an hour, starts off in our Exhibition Area before heading into the distillery itself where you will see our unique stills. Then on to the Tasting Bar where you will sample some whisky! (N.B. Miniatures are provided for drivers to take away with them.) For those who can't climb stairs we have an alternative tour. We also hold more in-depth Masterclasses which last 2.5 hours.Thank you for reading, and we look forward to seeing you!
