Dragon Trails has been running fully catered guided walking holidays on the West Wales coast since 1999, based at a beautiful Georgian dower-house near Cardigan. They offer a chance to explore the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coasts, with their choughs, dolphins and spectacular spring flowers, the wild and ancient landscapes of the Preselis and the wooded valleys of the Teifi and Nevern rivers. Four whole days (5-6 hrs) and two half days (3-4hrs) of walking, guided by one of your hosts, are included in your holiday (but not compulsory!). Delicious home-cooked food (and wine!), log fires, croquet, coracling and more..Your host and guide, Richard Mitchley, is a qualified Mountain Leader, a Welsh speaker and a life-long amateur naturalist and historian.

During the Spring and Autumn, holidays in Cardigan run weekly (6 or 7 nights from Saturday). For 2018 the Spring season runs from 21 April to 23 June; the Autumn season is 1 Sept to 13 October. Short breaks are available between November and March by arrangement.Prices per head per holiday: 4 nights £400, 6 nights £490, 7 nights £550 - plus £50 per head per week for en suites.We also run 4 night breaks in Crickhowell in the heart of the Brecon Beacons from March to October. BOOKING: Provisional bookings can be made by phone (01873-810970), but we ask for a deposit of £50 per person within 7 days. We'll send you a receipt showing the deposit paid and the balance due. The balance is payable on arrival.YOU WILL NEED: Walking boots, waterproofs, a small day-pack, water bottle, clothes to cover variable Welsh weather. Although every care will be taken and walks are not over particularly hazardous terrain, we cannot accept responsibility for accidents and recommend you take out insurance to cover personal CANCELLATION: In the event of your cancelling your holiday we will retain your deposit.In the event of less than 6 people booking for a given week, we reserve the right to cancel the holiday and refund all monies paid, not less than 5 weeks before the start date.
