Original Hideaways - Mill House

Steeped in 260 years of history, Mill House is a lovingly restored grain mill where heritage and contemporary design meet. Original cogs and grinding stones tell its story, while bespoke interiors and beautiful bedrooms invite guests to slow down and relax, bringing a sense of heritage to a practical modern space. Sitting at the heart of the estate, it includes five king size en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped handmade kitchen and two living areas with sofas centred around a double-sided wood-burning stove.

There are four bedrooms upstairs and one at ground level for accessibility, each have their own distinctive personality, thoughtfully designed to reflect the house’s history and surroundings.

Every room has a garden view of the Mill orchard and the east meadow to watch the sunrise, four bedrooms have dressing tables/writer’s desks for moments of inspiration.

A covered walkway leads directly to The Piggeries, giving groups their own private dining area, bar and treatment room for dinners, wellness sessions or evening events. Outside, the house has an arbour, fire pit, the Heartwood Sauna, an outdoor shower, river steps for wild swimming and access to a three-acre conservation area with private walking trails. Mill House is perfect for all kinds of group gatherings.
