Y Talbot

Y Talbot is a characterful Inn located on the market square in the attractive small town of Tregaron, Ceredigion. Originally a drovers inn sitting at the foot of the Berwyn mountains Y Talbot is well situated for exploring the hills, river valleys and coastline of Ceredigion and is conveniently situated for the university towns of Lampeter and Aberystwyth.

Y Talbot has undergone extensive but sympathetic renovation, retaining the character of this well known business whilst providing top quality food, drink and accomodation with warm and friendly service.

We are open 7 days a week all year round for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Conferences and meetings facilities are available.

Hosts Mick and Nia and chef Dafydd Watkin, invite you to enjoy our excellent food, either in the pub or the restaurant , drawing on the superb fresh produce that is available in area. We also stock an extensive range of Welsh cask ales and showcase the best local produce wherever possible.

The landscaped garden, south facing with views over Tregaron and the Cambrian Mountains is ideal for al fresco dining.

There is guest parking to the front and rear of the property and a lockable store for bikes and motorbikes.
For guests with limited mobility there is a purpose built ground floor accessible bedroom. the ground floor of the building is readily accessible with no steps or ramps, there is also an accessible convenience suitable for wheelchair users.
