About The Cawdor

The Cawdor is one of Carmarthenshire's landmark listed buildings and is now one of Wales' leading boutique hotels. We are located in the heart of the historic market town of Llandeilo that is a hive of independent boutiques, galleries and cafes.

We offer an understated mix of old-world charm and modern comforts; come and relax on our inviting sofas in reception by the fire with a coffee or enjoy a local tipple in the bar and view our collection of vintage photographs documenting the town’s heritage.

The Brecon Beacons are on our doorstep, it’s a 20-minute drive to the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney gardens, and the Gower and Pembrokeshire coasts are within easy reach.

Food is all overseen by our head chef Gavin Oram; bread is baked daily, meats and cheese are smoked in-house and all ingredients are sourced, whenever possible, from local suppliers we know and trust. So, whether you want a simple but hearty bar meal or to dine in our Georgian dining room, you will find a great choice of freshly prepared, seasonal local dishes.
