About Snowdonia National Park Centre

The Snowdonia National Park Centre at Plas Tan y Bwlch in the heart of the National Park is an ideal location to relax and to learn. The historic Victorian gardens are free to visit and include many rare and exotic shrubs and trees, including some UK champions. Visitors can tour the house to learn more about the family that once lived here. The stables conference centre is also host to displays by local artists. The Dwyryd Tea Room, located on the terrace in front of the house, serves a variety of home-made cakes and refreshments and is open daily from Easter to October.
The Centre also organises a variety of courses covering all aspects of the countryside, crafts, painting, history, folklore and many other subjects. Accommodation is provided in comfortably furnished en-suite rooms, some with views across the Dwyryd valley. We are also available for groups to book your own stay to visit the area.
