Preseli Venture is a sustainable outdoor adventure centre with Visit Wales accredited 5- star eco lodge accommodation set on the beautiful North Pembrokeshire Coast, geared towards providing unique, immersive and memorable experiences in the heart of the UK’s only coastal National Park.

VISIT WALES - THE COASTAL WAY

The eco lodge and activity centre is conveniently located on the final stretch of Wales’ well-traversed ‘Coastal Way’, an epic 180 mile journey which stretches from the Western tip of the mountainous LLyn Peninsula to the famous pilgrimage destination and smallest city in the UK, St David’s. Preseli Venture’s Adventure Days are an absolute “must do” on the Coastal Way itinerary, whether you’re coasteering through emerald green waters in the awe-inspiring “Cathedral Caves”, sea kayaking under the immense natural archway “Needle Rock” or surfing clean, green waves on Pembrokeshire’s pristine sandy Blue Flag beaches. Visitors describe swimming with inquisitive Atlantic grey seals, paddling with pods of porpoises and spotting a huge variety of coastal birdlife.

ECO LODGE ACCOMMODATION

The Preseli Venture eco lodge is a rural retreat perfect for solo travellers, walkers, couples, families and groups. Nestled on the hillside of a National Trust wooded valley, the lodge is only a mile’s walk to the secluded, unspoilt beach of Abermawr and boasts breathtakingly beautiful views of the wild North Pembrokeshire coastline.

11 cosy bedrooms accommodate up to 40 people with a variety of singles, doubles, twins, family rooms and larger rooms which can sleep from 3 to 6 people so that everyone can enjoy their own comfortable sanctuary. We can offer your guests private rooms and on certain dates you are welcome to book exclusive use of the eco lodge.

Full Welsh breakfasts, hearty hot lunches and two course evening meals are prepared by Preseli Venture’s in house chef using delicious and wholesome ingredients, locally sourced where possible. They happily cater for all special dietary requirements. The lodge has a licensed bar from which guests can sample local ales and other tipples.

The lodge situated just outside the village of Mathry, just 5 miles from Fishguard, 9 miles from St David’s and easily accessible by the coastal shuttle buses. Preseli Venture even offer free minibus transfers to and from Fishguard and Goodwick train station on certain trains.

Half- Day Guided Adventures – Coasteering, Sea Kayaking and Surfing
Your guests will meet at the Preseli Venture eco lodge to get kitted up in super snug winter wetsuits in the comfort of the activity centre’s onsite changing rooms before heading off to one of the enchanting 'secret spots' on the nearby coastline for their half-day adventure! What sets Preseli Venture apart is that they have their own minibuses to access the adventure locations so all your clients need to do is turn up ready for some unforgettable adventures, knowing they’re in safe hands! They’ll also have access to a free private off-road car park at their lodge and can enjoy a delicious home-cooked hot lunch and local ale at their eco lodge restaurant and bar.

Preseli venture are fully licensed activity providers (AALS) and their fully-qualified expert team comprises of Pembrokeshire’s most enthusiastic and knowledgeable adventure aficionados who endeavour to bring exhilarating and awe-inspiring experiences to everybody, young or old, first timers or seasoned adventurers. What’s more, the guides use go-pros and waterproof cameras to capture the client’s most memorable moments.

Preseli Venture unearths the secret spots that lie off the beaten track; as well taking your guests to sublime settings for coasteering, sea kayaking and surfing, they organise activities with trusted local providers from trekking the majestic Pencaer Peninsula on horseback to kite land-boarding on the expansive sands of Newgale beach, stand-up paddle-boarding from the picturesque Solva Harbour to taking a boat around Ramsey Island RSPB reserve, home to the famous tidal rapids, “The Bitches”. Bespoke packages are lovingly hand-picked to meet the needs of a wide clientele including families, couples, solo travellers and groups.

WALKING THE PEMBROKESHIRE COAST PATH

Preseli Venture is seated right on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path National Trail which offers breath-taking scenery atop towering cliffs and access to magical secret beaches, making their eco lodge accommodation the perfect resting spot for walkers. Preseli Venture offers drop-offs along the coast path using their minibuses from which guests can walk back to the lodge and restore in front of the wood burner with a local brew in hand from their well-stocked and beautifully furnished bar. Your clients can expect beautifully presented private rooms, delicious home-cooked meals and a friendly, dedicated hospitality team.
