Twr y Felin hotel to be restored for 2015
Twr y Felin Hotel is being meticulously restored and extended to reopen as a luxury contemporary hotel in summer 2015.
It will offer 20 ensuite luxury bedrooms, a sophisticated Bar and Restaurant offering the best of locally sourced ingredients, and an inviting lounge named Oriel (Welsh for gallery), where resident and non-resident guests alike will be welcomed to enjoy lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Twr y Felin Hotel will join a select group of UK Art Hotels with a collection of over 100 pieces of art and sculpture.
Originally a Windmill built in 1806 Twr y Felin is a unique building whose character has been preserved, which is especially evident in the tower bedrooms.
Owner Keith Griffiths said “we are looking forward to growing on the success of Twr y Felin Hotel’s sister venues, Penrhiw Hotel and Roch Castle by opening our first fully operational hotel in Retreats Group Ltd. It has been such a privilege to conserve and develop these importantly historic features of our Pembrokeshire landscape and heritage”.
