Three of North Wales’s top 5 star boutique hotels have joined forces to launch a 6 day luxury ‘hotel hop’ break for visitors wanting to follow in the footsteps of George Borrow to explore the best the area has to offer.
Encompassing the rolling hills and valleys of the Vale of Clwyd and Snowdonia’s striking mountains and coast, the ‘hotel hop’ has been designed to appeal to busy travellers looking for an convenient alternative to the usual touring holiday and to couples inspired by William and Kate’s Welsh romance.
Ffynnon, an award-winning intimate boutique hotel in Dolgellau in Southern Snowdonia; manorhaus, a contemporary restaurant with rooms and gallery in Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd and Plas Dinas, a luxurious country house with Royal connections near Caernarfon on the North West coast form three points of a triangle covering North Wales and provide the ideal bases from which to explore the area.
Travellers stay 2 nights at each hotel and start the hop by visiting www.hotelhop.co.uk to choose the first hotel stop on their journey, who will then provide a single point of contact, making forward reservations and confirming arrangements at the other two.
Early birds can take advantage of a special starting price of £100 per night based on 2 persons sharing a standard room at each hotel on bookings made between 14th February and 31st March. This includes accommodation and breakfast and the use of the facilities at each hotel.
