Bodnant Welsh Food Centre has announced the opening of The River Room restaurant. They offer an intimate and informal fine dining experience with a unique 7 course tasting menu, each course refined and carefully selected by Head Chef Andrew Sheridan to marry perfectly into a stimulating and exciting event for the senses.
Offering the ultimate foodie experience, customers can immerse themselves in the theatre of the kitchen, with Andrew and his team preparing the tasting menu when entering the restaurant. A drink and canapés can be enjoyed on arrival, where each dish is introduced, explaining the seasonality of the food and the methods used to prepare the menu. There is a wine & cocktail list that complements each course, whilst the restaurant team will be on hand to answer any questions.
Andrew has worked alongside Michelin starred chef Michael Caines and with two AA Rosettes, High Life Dining 2012 and Best Hotel Restaurant in Wales 2015 awards under his belt, is excited about the brand new restaurant.
Situated at the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre in the picturesque Conwy valley, Andrew’s menu is rooted in the exceptional producers of this beautiful region, allowing Andrew to offer exquisite food in his own distinctive style.
Andrew also oversees the onsite Cookery School, so whether a complete beginner or an enthusiastic foodie, the state of the art cookery school hosts a range of inspiring courses suited to all abilities.
