The Grove Narberth was recently awarded to the Pride of Britain's 'Hotel of the Year 2015' at a luncheon in the legendary Goring Hotel in London's Belgravia.
Pride of Britain Hotels represent 49 of the most prestigious, independently-owned luxury hotels located in some of the most beautiful locations around the British Isles.
We feel it is a real privilege to be part of such a prestigious consortium, and it is very special that all the hard work that goes into The Grove gets acknowledged like this.
Our bluebell meadow is now in full bloom framing The Grove once again, but this year the gardens are looking better than ever.
Jerry our Head Gardener and his assistant Steve have been very busy transforming the gardens. A stunning parterre has been constructed on the front terrace and lots of hedging plants have been planted to better frame our garden borders. We look forward to watching these new planting schemes mature.
During May, our walled garden will be completed after years of restoration work. Jerry will then set about building a culinary herb garden surrounded by but flowers with a network of gravel paths to create a formal space for guests to enjoy. Once completed our chefs and bar team at both The Grove and our sister restaurant Coast in Saundersfoot, will be able to harvest a variety of mints, chamomile, bronze and green fennel, lemon thyme, sage, angelica, lemon verbena, marjoram, oregano, garlic chives, dill, chervil, lovage, parsley and tarragon to name but a few.
