Swansea's Tower Restaurant Reopening
A Welsh brewery is to reopen the restaurant at the top of the 29-storey Meridian Tower in Swansea.
It closed in April just four months after opening when the original tenant was declared bankrupt.
Now Cardiff-based Brains which runs over 270 pubs, bars and hotels across Wales and the west of England, is taking on the restaurant.
It said contractors were on site refurbishing the tower's top two floors so it could reopen in mid-November. Around 50 jobs are being created.
The brewery's retail director Philip Lay said it would be modelled on its Mediterranean-themed Grape and Olive venue in Cardiff and will share the same name.
"But we're not only changing the name," he added.
