Step Outside founders Andrew Dugmore, Ian Pattinson and Aeron John
A new venture in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has been launched to help walkers find one of the world’s top coastal trails a challenging and memorable outdoor experience.
Step Outside has been set up by a group of local walk leaders who have put together two packages to enable people to gain confidence in the outdoor environment.
There are sessions of outdoor skills - including Nordic walking, route planning, wilderness awareness, navigation and photography – as well as a guided walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which is broken down into three one-week sessions.
“Choice and flexibility is at the heart of what we are offering, and age and experience is no barrier,“ said Ian Pattinson, one of the co-founders of Step Outside. “We wanted to make our outdoor experiences available and attractive to as many people as possible in Pembrokeshire, as well as visitors to West Wales.”
Step Outside is now taking bookings for its skills sessions and also the coastal path guided challenge, which is spread over three weeks, each in a different season.
