The Snowdonia Arts Festival is happening again this October in Betws-y-Coed. From humble beginnings to celebrate the Victorian Artists’ Colony of 1844, the festival has grown over the last 4 years to become a major annual event embracing the arts and artists within the region.
The Festival showcases work by artists, photographers,
craftworkers and musicians. New for this year is the Festival Marquee situated on Cae Llan , the village green, in the centre of the village. On the performance stage will be talks about Snowdonia and it’s artistic heritage and professional musicians.
Artists include Josie Russell, Alison Bradley, Pierino Algeiri and the renowned Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir who will be performing on Saturday night at St Marys Church. Additionally there are many fun events suitable for all the family, including Dr Zigs mammoth bubbles installations, free art & craft workshops and street performances.
