Ruthin Castle, the privately owned medieval castle hotel in Ruthin, North Wales, has been awarded a 4 Star hotel grading by Visit Wales, the official quality mark of Wales’ official nationwide quality assessment scheme.
This follows the hotel’s recent refurbishment and development programme which included extensive room upgrades and the launch of a luxury indoors and outdoors spa, The Moat featuring the UK’s first Sauna Tent experience. The 4 star grading was given in respect of Ruthin Castle’s quality of business, consistency in key areas of the business and facility requirements.
This 4 star award complements Ruthin Castle’s existing 2 AA Rosette grading for its Bertie’s Restaurant which is run by Head Chef Darren Shenton-Morris and recent Investor in People award which recognizes businesses for their staff good practice.
Anthony St Claire, owner of Ruthin Castle says: “We are delighted to be recognized with the 4 Star grading by Visit Wales which officially positions us amongst the best hotels in Wales. Not only do we now have the facilities to be proud of and which will provide an added attraction to visitors, but we also have an excellent team who are committed to providing the highest possible service. ”
