Following Royal Porthcawl Golf Club’s successful staging of the 2014 competition, The Senior Open Championship will return for another round in Wales from 27 to 30 July 2017.

The club will be hoping to build on the success of Wales’ first Major, which saw more than 43,000 spectators visit the fairway to witness Bernhard Langer secure an unbelievable 13-stroke victory over a star-packed field including Tom Watson, Colin Montgomerie, Miguel Angel Jiménez and Gary Player.

Following on from the success of 2010's Ryder Cup at The Celtic Manor Resort, the return of the Senior Open Championship to Wales showcases how great our country is at hosting major Golf tournaments on a global scale.

Updates on ticket sales will be announced on our newspage when they become available.
