Radisson Hotel – opened July 09

CCFC/Cardiff Blues Stadium

Cardiff City Stadium is a 26,828 all-seated sport and concert venue in the Leckwith area of the Cardiff, which is the home of Cardiff City Football Club who previously played at Ninian Park. Owned and operated by Cardiff City F.C., the stadium also hosts the home matches of the Cardiff Blues.  After the Millennium Stadium, it is the second largest stadium in Cardiff and in Wales. The stadium is part of the Leckwith development, which also includes the Cardiff International Sports Stadium. The stadium was officially opened on 22 July 2009, with Cardiff City playing a friendly match against Celtic.

Wydham Grp – 5 Star Hotel, Bay (200 rooms) – due to open in 2013

Plans have been unveiled for a five star hotel in Cardiff which it is claimed will be Wales' tallest building at 127m (417ft).  Work is due to start on the 32-storey Wyndham Cardiff towards the end of the year and it is likely to open

by 2013.

Funding approval has now been granted for the Sports Centre of Excellence and events Arena for Parc Eirias and development plans are now being finalised with the intention of contractors being on site by late September and a structural completion date of April 2011.
