Oakwood Theme Park is aiming to ease the post-Olympics blues by offering visitors a golden opportunity to enjoy two great days out for the price of one.

To celebrate the amazing success of Team GB, the Pembrokeshire park is giving people the chance to join in the After Dark late-night opening events on Fridays and then re-visit the park on Saturday for just £1.

The special ‘Golden Offer’ is valid throughout August and is open to anyone who arrives at the park after 6pm on Fridays.

Oakwood Theme Park’s Dominic Jones said: “Everyone here has been really caught up in the fun and excitement of the Olympics but with it all coming to an end at the weekend we decided to come up with something to try and keep the enthusiasm levels up.

“For those of us who weren’t lucky enough to get to see the games themselves we’ve had to watch them on television and now is a great time to get outside and enjoy the remainder of the summer.

“Our After Dark events are always popular and provide the perfect opportunity for people to enjoy the park after work. The ‘Golden Offer’ means they can come back the next day and experience another day’s entertainment for just a pound,” he added.

Oakwood is open from 10am until 10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout August as part of its ‘After Dark’ events which feature spectacular fireworks displays and music.

The park is also staging a series of spectacular pirate-themed high dive shows throughout the summer. The Pirate Dive Shows will take place three times daily from until September 1st with additional evening performances when the park closes at 10pm.

To take advantage of the ‘Golden Offer’ visitors will have to visit the park after 6pm on a Friday in August. On production of their receipt they will then be able to purchase a ticket for Saturday for £1 (the Saturday tickets can either
