Nant yr Arian Mountain Bike Centre
Wales has carved a reputation as a leading mountain bike destination, with world class trail centres and natural trails to suit all abilities. Planning a trip to Wales in our Year of Adventure is about to be made a whole lot easier with the re-launch of the official mountain bike website for Wales – mbwales.com.
Attracting thousands of mountain bikers to Wales each year, we boast some of the best trails and locations to ride. The MB Wales website will allow potential visitors to search for their perfect trail by grade, distance, facilities and location within Wales and have a wish list of trails ready to go.
As well as planning which trail to ride, you will also be able to search for the things needed to complete a trip to Wales for your clients, including finding a bike friendly accommodation from our interactive map, find a mountain bike guide or coach to help improve skills, find the nearest bike shop or bike hire, or find the best cafes to visit for post ride tea and cake or Welsh beer.
Mountain biking has massively developed over the years with the creation of trail centres, and Wales boasts the fact that the first purpose built mountain bike trail in the UK was created at Coed y Brenin 20 years ago this year. Now our trail centres are an integral part of the mountain bike industry in Wales, however we mustn’t forget our natural trail riding in locations such as Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia.
Mountain Bike Wales (mbwales.com) is set to re-establish itself as the go to website for all things mountain biking in Wales, including events and new trail information.
