Hill farming experience showcases local food
A two day Hill farming event later this month is set to highlight local food and produce while offering the opportunity to meet with local farmers.
Trystan Edwards, general manger of Snowdonia and Llyn at the National Trust said the Welsh Hill Farming Experience would give visitors a real insight into the lives among the dramatic scenery of Snowdonia.
“We are pleased to be involved with this exciting event, providing an opportunity to give our guests an insight into the involvement of the National Trust with farming in North Wales. On behalf of the National Trust. I would like to welcome our guests to all the farms and other sites that you will be visiting as part of the tour,” he said.
The tour ends with a fantastic opportunity to visit the ‘Blas ar Fwyd’ delicatessen in Llanrwst, there will be an opportunity to sample local products in this excellent showcase for local food producers.
The delicatessen business receives a wide variety of produce, much of which either comes directly from the producers or is imported especially for Blas ar Fwyd.
