The sky’s the limit for the services to business and tourism offered by a new Welsh company in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
Fly Heli Wales, which recently welcomed trade and local authority leaders to its VIP launch, is aiming for new heights in the range of flights it can offer.
From its base at Haverfordwest airport in Pembrokeshire, Fly Heli Wales has a seven-strong team who offer tailor made flights to suit customer needs, from pleasure flights, through to corporate charter. The company, set up by Tudur Williams, has already welcomed passengers aboard its four-seater Bell Jet Ranger II helicopter for pleasure flights to take a bird’s eye view of the stunning scenery of south west Wales.
And its base within a few miles of the Milford Haven waterway and Pembrokeshire’s magnificent, world-ranked coastline puts Fly Heli Wales in an ideal position to supply aerial transport for aerial photography, survey work and filming.
Preseli Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb was amongst those who climbed aboard for a recent Fly Heli Wales experience. He said afterwards: “Fly Heli Wales offers an exciting and high-vale addition to Pembrokeshire’s tourism and leisure centre, with a wide range of flights for all budgets.”
He commented that the company was helping the ‘outstanding local facility’ of Haverfordwest Airport to boost its potential to capitalise on the growing market for private, commercial and leisure flights.
Visit Wales’ Gill Bernsten took off on a taster flight and described the views of Pembrokeshire from the air as ‘breathtaking’.
She added: “Fly Heli Wales provides a great opportunity for tourists to the area to experience Wales from the air.”
