Last night saw AmaZing Venues’ Welsh property, Chateau Rhianfa, pick up the Top Hotel Restaurant of the Year award at the Food Awards Wales.
The Anglesey hotel pipped thousands of nominees to the post at the inaugural ceremony, held at Mercure Cardiff Holland House.
The awards aim to recognise the hard work and efforts of the Welsh food industry. Accolades include restaurants, takeaways, gastro pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as shine the spotlight on the wonderful local producers who supply their delicious ingredients.
Head Chef at Chateau Dining, Andrew Sheridan and Sous Chef Jacob Smith attended the black tie evening, presented by Capital 1’s breakfast presenter, Polly James.
Andrew and his team were praised for the quality dining experience they offer, using local ingredients where possible; the meat is supplied local farmers, fresh fish and lobster from the Menai Strait and fine cheeses from the Snowdonia Cheese Company.
Château Dining offers great service in a relaxed atmosphere complemented by an extensive wine line.
