South West Wales is renowned for its captivating castles and breathtaking gardens and a new set of suggested itineraries has been created to assist group travel operators bringing tours to the area.

Itineraries include from 1 to 5-day options, accessible tours, wet weather friendly venues and driving tours that take in some of the region’s finest attractions and landscapes.

The area has the world’s largest single span glasshouse (National Botanic Garden of Wales) and history from the Monastic Era to modern times (illustrated in attractions such as Margam Park) alongside many other iconic castles and gardens, including Kidwelly Castle and Aberglasney Gardens.

Visiting South West Wales and exploring its Castles and Gardens will immerse tour groups in the region’s history and, as well as this, the itineraries have been created to showcase the glorious landscapes for visitors to enjoy en route and, of course, suggesting some great refreshment and accommodation options.

Each attraction has a story to tell and with 2017 heralding the Year of Legends here in Wales, you can listen, explore and learn as you discover them all.
