Cardiff is the first location of "Food Exploration Destination" (FeD) in the UK following a £2 million investment.
The 13,000 sq foot, two-storey restaurant can serve up to 300 diners at one time. Its top-floor mezzanine area can serve up to 50 covers and is available for private hire.
There are a range of dining options available as part of private dining bookings. Guests can visit the restaurant’s live kitchens themselves to make their selections, or can use FeD’s “Chef’s Table” experience, where they select from an extensive set menu of dishes which are delivered to your table. Selections may be required in advance, depending on the size of the party.
There is also a separate service bar upstairs, available for the exclusive use of the private-hire diners.
FeD offers diners a brand-new dining experience, combining all the best parts of the buffet and casual dining concept.
At FED diners are able to choose from hundreds of dishes from an extensive selection of world cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Indian, and Tex Mex , as well as classic dishes at the Carvery and Grill.
Instead of the pre-prepared meals often found in multi-cuisine restaurants, every dish is prepared fresh to order at one of the restaurant’s seven “live kitchens”.
Customers can interact with FeD’s skilled chefs to create their own bespoke dish, choosing the exact ingredients, sauces, and how they would like it to be cooked. Customers can also take their pick from a rotating selection of FeD’s signature dishes.
