Cambria Tours, a Wales-based Destination Management Company who focuses on bringing people into Wales, have launched their programme of pan-Wales set date departures for 2016. They will also offer monthly Spanish and German departures.
Cambria Tours are an inbound tour operator and member of UKinbound and ETOA who work closely with overseas operators and travel agents to promote travel to Wales and create bespoke packages for both groups and individual travellers.
Based in Mid-Wales, their expanding team has seen an influx of interest in travel in Wales both in the domestic and international markets which has prompted the need to offer a programme of set departure dates for Wales.
Their weekly English Language departure tours will depart from Cardiff every Monday from 2nd May until 10th October 2016. They will be fully escorted, with a maximum of 18 people per tour, travelling in luxury mini-coaches and staying in great quality hotels throughout Wales. They will include a range of experiential tourist excursions and key tourist visits, and will be available for operators to book on any number of their customers.
These tours will be fully escorted, with a maximum of 16 people per tour, travelling in luxury minicoaches and staying in great quality hotels throughout Wales. They will include a range of experiential tourist excursions and site visits, and will be available for operators to book individual customers on to.
Aberystwyth-based Cambria Tours has gone from strength to strength this year, working alongside Visit Wales on the promotion of Wales in many ways, including attending various international exhibitions and travel trade fairs such as ITB Berlin and Destination Britain Americas in Mexico. Their managing director Aled was shortlisted for ‘Rising Tourism Star’ at the National Tourism Awards for Wales 2015. They have experience in organising tours for Independent Travellers (FITs) all the way through to multi-coach tours, with the largest group they have carried in the last year consisting of a group of 128 from all over America.
Aled Rees, managing director of Cambria Tours, said, “This last year has been an exciting year for Wales and we have really felt the enthusiasm and engagement with our beautiful country build. Cambria Tours has focused on promoting Wales as a must-see tourist destination, and we feel the only way to push this a further step forward is to have available ready-made high quality tours that operators can feel confident in booking their customers on to. We will offer this weekly in 2016 in hopes that even more operators will be encouraged to offer our beautiful country as an important holiday destination, and the feedback we have received so far has been incredibly positive.”
