Call of the Wild Ltd were thrilled to win the Team Building Experience of the Year Award at the Conference and Incentive Travel Awards 2017 (C&IT).


The event is seen by many as the Oscars for the Conference and Incentive Travel industry.


The judges were impressed by the Elite Team Performance work with Worcester Warriors English Premiership Rugby Team. The team were seeking to improve their overall performance to ensure they retained their premiership status, which they achieved. The Judges said Call of the Wild was the outstanding choice due to the impact their work had for the client.


“We are absolutely delighted. To be chosen by the judges before larger UK wide organisations is excellent. When venues such as Berlin, Geneva, Las Vegas and Lisbon are winning awards at the same event it puts into perspective how big this award is on a global stage. It is also important for us as we were the only Welsh winners. It illustrates that our work in the fields of management training, team building and leadership development is recognised as some of the best in the country,” explained Geraint Lewis, Managing Director.

Call of the Wild has been delivering personal, team and leadership development programmes for 19 years. They are located in a 73 acre training centre on the hills above the village of Abercrave in the Brecon Beacons National Park and travel all over the UK delivering programmes to clients.  Their purpose is to create positive, measurable, transferable and lasting behavioural change for our client’s.


Call of the Wild’s philosophy is based on experiential learning, believing that the most powerful and lasting learning comes from an individual’s experience of the world and their subsequent reflection on that experience. Learning by doing not just listening.


The centre also provides accommodation for 44 people, as well as conference, catering and changing facilities.
