Award winning ‘musical’ guest house
Llwyn Helyg, in Llanarthne, Carmarthenshire is an award winning guest house which was opened by owners Caron and Fiona Jones in 2013. Following major investment , the once derelict building has been replaced with a completely new build and been awarded a five star guest accommodation rating from Visit Wales and won the 2013/14 AA Guest Accommodation of the Year award for Wales.
Llwyn Helyg was also named as the Best Place to Stay in the Guest Accommodation category at Visit Wales’ National Tourism Awards for Wales in 2013/14. In addition to regular tourists, it is also marketed as a ‘Bed and Breakfast for Music Lovers’, as it offers a unique acoustically-designed ‘Listening Room’ with a programme of music events alongside luxury rooms.
