Anglesey Walking Holidays was set up in 2006 by Eurwyn and Gillian Williams. The company organises packaged walking holidays along the 128 mile Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. Their full walking packages include accommodation, luggage transfer together with route packs full of local knowledge.
Due to excellent reviews by their customers, they have now extended their services to mainland Wales.
“Every year, we welcome customers from all over the world” said Eurwyn “and they fall in love with Anglesey and Wales – the language, culture and its amazing scenery. Customers have enjoyed our packages so much, they’ve been asking us to organise similar walking holidays in other areas of Wales. This is why we’ve set up Wales Walking Holidays”.
Wales Walking Holidays offer walking packages on Offa’s Dyke National Trail, Glyndŵr’s Way National Trail, the Wales Coast Path from Prestatyn, (North Wales), down to Machynlleth in Mid Wales, the North Wales Path from Prestatyn to Bangor, Snowdonia as well as the Wicklow Way, Ireland. They are agents for both Stena and Irish Ferries and a lot of their customers fly into Dublin and take the ferry over to Holyhead.
Gillian added, “A couple from Alaska are returning in June 2015 to walk the Offa’s Dyke Path with us after completing the Anglesey Coastal Path in 2013. One group have been with us 4 times and have already booked for next year on Glyndwr’s Way.”.
