Welsh company rebrands and launches new products for Wales

Cambria Tours divides into Cambria Tours and Cambria DMC, the former existing to serve direct customers and the latter to continue work with the Travel Trade including offering scheduled departure tours of Wales.

Cambria Tours, a Wales-based Destination Management Company who focusses on bringing people into Wales, are rebranding to reflect the majority of the work they do with the Travel Trade offering services for FITs, tourist groups and corporate groups. Cambria DMC are also launching a new weekly scheduled departure, ‘A Snapshot of Wales’, which is five days’ long, and travels through key tourist destinations in Wales, staying in mid-range hotels and experiencing highlights of the country at a great value price. They also offer a new range of chauffeur-driven day trips throughout Wales.

Cambria Tours will still exist as the customer-facing part of the brand, and Cambria DMC (Destination Management Company) will continue to do the work that Cambria Tours has offered up until this point, including conferencing and event services, as well as tourism services. A new Cambria DMC FIT brochure has just been launched, and a Cambria DMC website will be launched shortly, in time for the upcoming Travel Trade shows that Cambria DMC will be attending including World Travel Market (with Visit Wales) and Global European Marketplace.

Cambria DMC, is a member of UKinbound and ETOA, and works closely with overseas operators and travel agents to promote travel to Wales and create bespoke packages for both groups and individual travellers. Based in Mid-Wales, their expanding team has seen an influx of interest in travel in Wales over the last year with the launch of their scheduled departures. This year sees some changes to their scheduled departure programme, with their fully escorted English Language departure tour ‘Castles, Coast and Celts’ now running on a monthly basis. This tour will be fully escorted, with a maximum of 12 people per tour, travelling in luxury mini-coaches and staying in luxury hotels throughout Wales. They will include a range of experiential tourist excursions and key tourist visits, and will be available for operators to book any number of their customers.

Aled Rees, Managing Director of Cambria Tours, said:

“Wales has started to get the publicity it deserves this year, and we have seen demand for group tours as well as individual tours build throughout 2016 and we look forward to a jam-packed 2017 season. Our rebrand comes in time for the Global European Market and World Travel Market show where we will meet with new and existing operators, and showcase our ever-expanding range of products to showcase our beautiful country.”
