Sample Itineraries

  • 1. Puffin Watching

Take a trip to the sea bird sanctuary of Skomer Island. During the Spring, Skomer is the nesting site for thousands of Gulls, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Peregrines, Shearwaters, Razorbills & Puffins, which can be viewed from only a few feet away.

The tour, led by a local expert, includes a visit to Castell Henllys, a reconstructed Iron Age hill fort and Pentre Ifan a 3,000 year old cromlech (tomb). The tour can also include Welsh story telling, singing and music.
  • 3. Historic Houses, Castles & Gardens

Visit Picton Castle, a medieval Norman castle and now a grand country house; the magnificent Aberglasney Gardens and the elegant Georgian villa Llanerchaeron, set in the wooded Aeron valley.
