  • 6. Golf Greens of Southern Wales

    Wales is an undiscovered gem for golfers. The venue of the thrilling 2010 Ryder Cup competition, Celtic Manor Resort, is half an hour’s drive east of Cardiff and Royal Porthcawl, considered to be one of the finest courses in the world, is about three quarters of an hour west. Meanwhile there are two championship 18-hole golf courses at the nearby Vale Hotel and Spa Resort, including the acclaimed Wales National.
