  • Wales Millennium Centre

    (Allow 30 minutes minimum)
    This landmark building is the most lively performing arts venue in Wales, and home to Welsh National Opera, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre.  Special tours of this spectacular building can be arranged, but the highlight for past cruise visitors has been a private concert with one of our celebrated Male Voice Choirs – a truly memorable and emotional experience, as you would expect in the “Land of Song”.

  • Norwegian Church Arts Centre

    This small white wooden building on the waterfront is the former Norwegian Seamen’s Church, where author Roald Dahl was baptised and is now an arts and cultural centre, with a busy coffee shop.

  • Y Senedd - National Assembly for Wales Debating Chamber

  • Bay Arts Trail

    (6.2 miles or 10km)
    A circuit of Cardiff Bay is a great way to stretch the legs, on foot or on a hire bike – and for anyone feeling more energetic, the trail passes the Cardiff International White Water. Artworks along the route illustrate the rich industrial and social heritage of Cardiff’s docklands.

  • The Doctor Who Experience

    (Allow 1 hour) The Doctor Who Experience lands in Cardiff in July 2012. This interactive journey takes you and the Doctor on a spectacular adventure though time and space with specially created sets and special effects. Fans of the programme may also spot some familiar locations as Cardiff is where Doctor Who is filmed. A must for Sci-Fi fans of all ages!
